Robert is a Sydney-based Singing and Piano teacher, Musical Director and Accompanist. Robert’s students regularly feature in professional Australian and international music theatre productions, television and film. His Marrickville music studio has been successfully operating for over a decade.
Robert graduated from the WAAPA Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) in 2006. Since that time, he has worked in theatre, television and as a voice over artist. Robert was offered the role of Giuseppe in The Gondoliers with Opera Australia. He covered the roles of Paul Keating and Alexander Downer in the highly acclaimed Keating! The Musical. Following this Robert joined the Australian/Australasian tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera where he covered the role of Raoul. Soon after, he joined Broadway star Brad Little in Jekyll and Hyde playing John Utterson throughout Asia.
Robert has achieved his A.MUS.A in Piano. An accomplished Irish dancer, Robert was placed 2nd in the National Championships of 2001 and has travelled the world as a musician for Irish Dancing competitions.
Daniele Buatti is an accomplished and highly skilled Music Director, Arranger, Orchestrator, Pianist, and Voice Coach based in Melbourne. With a remarkable repertoire of talents, he specialises in preparing music for corporate events, musical theatre works, and commercial productions.
Daniele’s coaching transcends traditional vocal training, as he embraces a holistic approach that intertwines body, breath, thought, and intention. This unique philosophy empowers singers to forge a deep connection with their inner selves, infusing their music with authenticity and emotion.
As the resident Musical and Creative Director of Melbourne’s esteemed Broadway Unplugged since 2013, Daniele showcases his phenomenal abilities, leading a skilled band, crafting captivating arrangements, and delivering awe-inspiring performances at their monthly events. His annual presentation of Broadway Unplugged at the Royal Botanic Gardens, with a 15-piece band and entirely custom arrangements, leaves audiences in awe.
Daniele’s passion for nurturing talent extends beyond performances, as he imparts his wisdom and skills at esteemed institutions such as the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Federation University, Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance, and the Australian Institute of Music (AIM).
